Surgeons use either silicone implants or natural tissue grafts — cartilage from your own body or a donor. Both are safe and widely used. The choice depends on what you want to achieve and your anatomy.

Silicone Implants

Best for patients who want a higher nose bridge or subtle refinement, particularly for Asian rhinoplasty. No additional harvest site is needed, and recovery is shorter. The main consideration is that silicone has a less natural feel at the tip compared to cartilage.

Autologous Grafts — Natural, Long-Lasting Results

For more advanced reshaping, surgeons use your own tissue for a more natural and permanent result.
